More info
The Ex9UE1+2 12.5 series is a group of Class I + II overvoltage protection devices. They are designed to protect against indirect and low-intensity lightning strikes. In a standard three-phase TN-C network, these devices provide protection up to the required III, IV level (EN 62305), when the total electrical lightning current entering the electrical installation is 37.5 kA, and the total lightning strike current is 75 or 100 kA (this depends on the physical configuration and where the lightning grounding point, electrical installation grounding point, and overvoltage protection device are located). The Ex9UE1+2 12.5 model is equipped with high-energy metal oxide varistors. This model ensures a quick response and both Class I and II characteristics. The modular design with plug-in components allows for easy and quick replacement of functional modules if the MOV service life ends due to intensive operation or frequent overvoltage.
