The ETOG sensor is designed for surface mounting on the ground. The ETOG sensor measures soil temperature and humidity.
The ETOG sensor should be installed where snow and ice usually accumulate. The sensor should be placed on a concrete base on a solid surface, with the top of the sensor level with the surface.
