The CTACV-30 dual-conductor heating cable is perfect for roof ice and snow melting systems (roof gutters, downspouts, water collection gutters) and ground protection (on ramps, driveways, ascents and descents to parking lots, sidewalks, parking spaces, bridges, stairs, etc.) against icing, and for thawing frozen ground in winter (at construction sites).
The CTACV-30 is a 30 W/m power dual-conductor, double insulated heating cable (M2), with aluminum foil and braided copper screen (with memory), conductor fluoropolymer insulation and external polypropylene sheath. It is UV resistant. It is ideal for roof ice and snow melting systems (roof gutters, downspouts, water collection gutters) and ground protection (on ramps, driveways, ascents and descents to parking lots, sidewalks, parking spaces, bridges, stairs, etc.) against icing, and for thawing frozen ground in winter (at construction sites).
Installation: It is laid in gutters, downspouts, along roof edges and directly under the layer of concrete or stone dust under tiles, at entrances, driveways, parking lots, loading ramps, sidewalks and bridges for protection against icing, and directly on frozen ground, covered from above with stone wool mats.
